The Accessibility Expo at the Oklahoma State Fair is back for its second year — and we're building something bigger.
On Sunday, September 20th, Family Funday Sunday at the Oklahoma State Fair, we'll have 5 hours of free, open access to one of the largest and most diverse audiences in Oklahoma. Last year more than 30 organizations representing services, supports, and resources for disabled Oklahomans came together in one place. This year we're expanding — including a Sensory Friendly Morning at the Fair earlier in the day.
If your organization serves disabled Oklahomans — whether that's community support, health and education, housing, transportation, advocacy, adaptive recreation, disability rights, or anything in between — we want you there.
A few details:
— Vendor fee is $100, with scholarships available for organizations for whom that's a barrier
— Separate applications for vendors and presenters
— Can't make it in person? We have a resource display table — reach out for drop off or mailing details
Applications are open now at okstatefair.com and we encourage you to apply soon.
Please share this with any organization in your network that should be in the room. The stronger the representation, the better it is for every disabled Oklahoman who walks through those gates.
