Bone health often goes unnoticed until it becomes a problem. As we age, our bones naturally lose strength and density, increasing the risk for osteoporosis. This condition can lead to painful fractures, loss of height and changes in posture.

Simple steps to protect your bones:
• Get enough calcium and vitamin D each day.
• Stay active with weight-bearing exercises like walking or dancing.
• Avoid smoking and limit alcohol intake.
• Ask your provider about bone density screenings, especially after age 50.

Today is National Mammography Day ❤️
A mammogram takes just a few minutes, but it could add years to your life. According to the American Cancer Society, when breast cancer is detected early and is in the localized stage, the five-year survival rate is 99%.
