Staff Spotlight! Meet Ashia, our Health and Fitness Instructor at Wings!🥳

Ashia keeps our Members moving, motivated, and feeling their best as they work toward their fitness goals. She is intentional in making sure our Members have a well rounded fitness plan, whether that’s hitting the adaptive bikes or going to a community partner gym! What a blessing it is to have someone who pushes our Members to be their best. We’re grateful to have her as part of the Wings team!✨

✨Member Monday: Meet Emily✨

Emily is a longtime Wings member who loves Art Production and bringing her creativity to life. Outside of Wings, you can find her watching favorites like The Barbie Movie, spending time with friends, or adding to her Barbie collection!

Emily believes the key to being a good friend is listening when they speak and helping when they need it. Her favorite thing about herself is that she is exactly who God made her to be, and we love that about her too 💫

Through this work, they are making an impact today while building a more inclusive future for classmates in special education programs who will one day benefit from programs like Wings.

🌟 Member Monday Spotlight 🌟

This week we’re featuring Derek!

Derek brings so much joy to Wings with his fun personality and love for making people laugh 😄

He’s a big fan of Bob Marley, enjoys ice cream, and is always up for watching any football game 🏈

His favorite program at Wings is Health and Fitness, and outside of Wings he loves spending time with family, playing his guitar, and going to church!

We’re so lucky to have Derek in our Wings community!🩵

It is Member Monday and today we are celebrating Grant🙌🏼

Grant is Wings biggest prankster and if you have spent any time at Wings there is a good chance he has told you there is a chicken a snake or even a bee behind you just to get a laugh! He loves a good fake out and keeps everyone on their toes!

Beyond the jokes Grant is incredibly thoughtful and intentional. He asks great questions and truly cares about what is going on in his friend’s lives which makes him such a meaningful part of our community.

Grant also loves all things spooky especially Dracula and enjoys spending time playing computer games outside of Wings.

Our community is brighter more joyful and definitely funnier because of Grant!🩵
