OU Neurosurgery spent time with our Ukrainian colleagues after conference yesterday on their last day. Over the past month, Olexy, Sergii, and Ivan learned advanced techniques in endovascular, spine, and skull base to help their patients in Ukraine.

Our newest faculty member in the Department of OU Neurosurgery, Dr. Michael Feldman, gives an interview with KFOR-TV.

Dr. Feldman discusses moyamoya syndrome as a common reason for pediatric stroke and its treatment. Dr. Feldman is a pediatric neurovascular specialist having completed two fellowships in pediatric neurosurgery at UAB - The University of Alabama at Birmingham and in endovascular neurosurgery at Vanderbilt University, respectively.

Dr. Feldman's clinical expertise and interest will serve the people of Oklahoma well!

We perform distal nerve transfers for birth brachial plexus injuries. In this case, we performed a stage I spinal accessory to suprascapular nerve transfer to help restore shoulder abduction in pan-plexus injury.
