There's nothing better than the love you feel when there's good food and wonderful people surrounding you. Thank you to all the friends, family, and staff who came in to make this event happen.

Herb Magley, a retired geologist who works with the Alzheimer’s Association treated all the residents to a geological trip around the world! He brought minerals from Siberia to the Congo and even had a Megalodon shark tooth! He took the time to explain how the crystals and minerals grew as well as hands on sharing.

The residents were all engaged and asked a lot of questions. Thank you Herb for sharing your passion with us.

The Homestead of Del City team came together once again to support The Longest Day fundraiser, benefiting those living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. This year’s “Dogs for Dollars” event was a success—we raised over $1,000!

A huge thank-you to our incredible staff, our residents and their families, our generous vendors, and the surrounding community. Your support helped us reach our goal, and we couldn’t have done it without you. It truly takes a team—and we’re proud to be part of one that cares so deeply. Thank you all!

Thank you, Complete, for coming by and helping us start our Mother’s Day celebrations.

Here we served hot herbal tea with finger sandwiches and blueberry scones. Afterwards, they created springtime hats to wear. Creativity rules! They all look beautiful!
