It’s been a busy and joyful week here at Homestead of Del City! From special visits with Mr. Grinch and Santa to a wonderful family concert featuring Jonathan Marshall, our days have been filled with holiday cheer. It was truly heartwarming to hear families and residents singing together and lifting one another’s spirits.

A heartfelt thank-you to everyone who helped make this holiday season extra special for us. And a special thank-you to the choir from Midwest City Spanish Adventist Church for coming to share their beautiful voices with our residents. It meant so much to all of us. 🎄✨

Herb Magley, a retired geologist who works with the Alzheimer’s Association treated all the residents to a geological trip around the world! He brought minerals from Siberia to the Congo and even had a Megalodon shark tooth! He took the time to explain how the crystals and minerals grew as well as hands on sharing.

The residents were all engaged and asked a lot of questions. Thank you Herb for sharing your passion with us.
