We are proud to share Bethany Children’s Health Center’s Oklahoma Cerebral Palsy Conference. This marks the fourth year Shelby Healthcare has sponsored and participated in this event.
Our partnership with Bethany matters because many of the children we care for at home begin their journey there. The work happening inside their walls does not stop at discharge, and neither does ours.
Shelby Healthcare provides private duty nursing for medically complex children across Oklahoma, including many children living with cerebral palsy. We support families managing feeding tubes, respiratory equipment, seizures, mobility challenges, and daily therapies in the home.
One of the most meaningful conversations at this year’s conference centered around supporting families beyond clinical settings. That is why we continue expanding our Parent Family Caregiver Program. For families who qualify, a parent or trusted family member can be trained and paid to provide care. For many children with CP, consistency and familiarity are critical. This model protects that stability.
