Things I will absolutely stand by as a chiropractor who loves mamas + babies:
1.) Birth where you feel the safest and most empowered.
This is everything. Your nervous system sets the tone for your entire birth experience. If you don’t feel safe, supported, and heard… your body knows.
Whether that’s at home, a birth center, or the hospital—there is no “right” place, only the place where you feel calm, confident, and in control.
Your body was designed for this. Your environment should support that, not fight it. 🤍

2.) Car seats stay in the car.
I know, I know… they’re convenient. But car seats are for transport, not containers for everyday life.
Keeping babies in car seats for long periods can impact their posture, airway, and developing spine. Once you’re home, take them out, let them stretch, move, breathe, and be a baby.
Think: car seat = travel tool, not baby holder. 🚗
⸻
3.) The floor is your baby’s best friend.
Not the swing. Not the bouncer. Not the lounger. Not the Snoo..
The floor = freedom, movement, and proper development. It’s where babies build strength, coordination, and body awareness.
If they’re happy and safe, let them wiggle it out down there. That’s where the magic happens. ✨
⸻
4.) Milestones aren’t a race—but they do matter.
Skipping crawling isn’t a flex. It’s a missed opportunity for brain and body development.
Crawling builds coordination between both sides of the brain, supports posture, and lays the foundation for so many future skills.
We want quality development, not just speed. 🧠
⸻
5.) Your nervous system matters just as much as your baby’s.
A regulated mama helps regulate a baby.
Support, rest, nourishment, and care for YOU isn’t extra—it’s essential. You were never meant to do this alone. 🤍
⸻
6.) You don’t have to “just deal with it.”
Reflux, tension, feeding struggles, colic… these are common, but not something you have to push through without support.
There are answers. There is help. And your intuition about your baby? It’s worth listening to every single time.
