Diagnostic Imaging Coordinator – Join Our Neurosurgical Team
We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized Diagnostic Imaging Coordinator to join our fast-paced neurosurgical practice. This role is vital in ensuring our patients receive timely imaging studies and that our providers have the information they need to deliver exceptional care.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and schedule all diagnostic imaging (MRI, CT, X-ray, etc.) for patients.
Verify insurance requirements and obtain prior authorizations when needed.
Serve as the liaison between patients, providers, and imaging facilities.
Track and ensure timely receipt of imaging results for review.
Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record.
Provide excellent communication and support to patients throughout the process.
Qualifications:
Previous medical office or scheduling experience preferred.
Knowledge of diagnostic imaging procedures and terminology a plus.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment.
Professional communication skills with patients, staff, and external facilities.
