🌱 REBIRTH: Spring Qigong & Sound Journey 🌱
Awakening the Wood Element | Flow, Vision & Vitality

Join us for a nourishing Qigong & Sound experience aligned with the Wood Element in Traditional Chinese Medicine, supporting the Liver and Gallbladder meridians, the energetic pathways of flow, planning, and purposeful action.

In TCM, the Liver is responsible for the smooth flow of Qi and blood throughout the body. When Liver energy is flowing freely, we feel clear, flexible, emotionally balanced, and energized. When stagnant, we may experience frustration, irritability, tension, headaches, digestive issues, or a sense of feeling “stuck.” Spring is the ideal season to gently detox, restore movement, and reconnect with our inner vision.

✨ What to Expect ✨
🌿 Wood Element Qigong & Breathwork
Led by Gwyn Davis, this grounded yet expansive practice uses slow, flowing movements to stimulate the Liver and Gallbladder meridians.
Wood energy teaches us how to bend without breaking—to grow with resilience rather than force. Through Qigong, we cultivate engaged flexibility, nourishing the tendons, ligaments, small muscles, and nervous system while restoring harmony between body and emotions.

🎶 Immersive Sound Journey
Settle into a deeply supportive soundscape with crystal bowls, gongs, handpan, and other healing instruments, lovingly offered by Kelsey Elledge and Natalie McCalla. Sound vibration helps unwind stagnation, calm the nervous system, and integrate the energetic shifts of the practice—allowing space for renewal, clarity, and embodied ease.

Dates: March 6, 13, 20, & 27

In March, we turn our attention to Liver and Gallbladder health, aligning with the rising energy of spring and the Wood Element in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).

In TCM, the Liver Meridian is responsible for the smooth and harmonious flow of Qi (life force energy) throughout the body. It plays a vital role in emotional regulation, digestion, blood circulation, and detoxification, and is closely connected to the eyes, tendons, and overall flexibility—both physical and emotional.

The Gallbladder Meridian works in partnership with the Liver, supporting clarity, decisiveness, courage, and the ability to take aligned action. When these meridians are balanced, we experience greater ease, vision, motivation, and resilience. When imbalanced, we may notice frustration, irritability, tension, indecision, headaches, tight hips or sides of the body, digestive challenges, or difficulty adapting to change.

Each class includes:
- A gentle Hatha Yoga warm-up
- Qigong forms for Liver & Gallbladder meridian health
- Breathwork and visualization techniques
- Space to restore balance, clarity, and ease in both body and mind

✨ Start class anytime during the month.
Enrollment options:
* 4 classes for $88
* 3 classes for $69
* 2 classes for $50
* Bring a friend: first-time guest price $15
Register at: https://checkout.square.site/merchant/M233HVAQ3R7AN/checkout/2QIWIDI2MQZ5KVL4IM5JOR3Q
Please note:
This is not a public drop-in class
Prior enrollment is required
You may enroll at any time during the month

If you know you’ll miss certain weeks or are joining partway through the month, you may purchase fewer classes as listed above. Classes do not roll over from one month to the next

Join this nourishing 2-hour Qigong workshop welcoming the energy of Spring through the lens of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Wood element.

Qigong is a gentle, meditative movement practice that combines posture, breathwork, visualization, and focused intention to cultivate Qi—our vital life force. Regular practice supports physical vitality, emotional balance, stress reduction, and nervous system regulation.

As we enter the Wood element season (mid-February through mid-May), the body and spirit naturally turn toward growth, renewal, and forward momentum, governed by the Liver and Gallbladder meridians. When Wood energy is balanced, we feel motivated, decisive, and resilient; when imbalanced, it may show up as frustration, irritability, indecision, tension, headaches, or stiffness.

This workshop explores how to recognize imbalances within the Wood energy and begin to restore balance through mindful movement and breath.

Workshop Experience Includes:
- Brief introductions and intention setting
- Overview of the Wood element in Traditional Chinese Medicine
- Exploration of Liver & Gallbladder meridians
- Guided Qigong forms to support seasonal balance
- Breathwork and visualization practices
- Restorative integration and closing

Instructional Approach:
- Rooted in classical TCM principles
- Based on the Five Element system and seasonal harmony
- Accessible and appropriate for all levels
- Supports liver and gallbladder health, emotional balance, and Spring renewal
