The newly established $100,000 H-1B visa fee will have devastating effects on healthcare. At least 150 physicians in Oklahoma County are here on H-1B visas — without an exemption, hospitals and clinics won’t be able to afford to keep them, worsening our already critical physician shortage.

OCMS is urging members to contact your elected representatives today and request a healthcare exception for physicians. Together, we can ensure that the physicians we train are able to continue serving our communities.
