We’re proud to recognize Chief Nathan Cobb and Assistant Chief Mitchell Perky of the Boise City Police Department. Their leadership and commitment to innovative crisis response make a real difference in Cimarron County.

Although their department is located in a rural community, they are able to work alongside mental health professionals through their MyCare iPads, ensuring individuals in crisis are met with care and connected immediately to professional help.

Thank you, Chief Cobb and Assistant Chief Perky, for your dedication to your community and for setting the standard in collaborative public safety!

It’s always a great day when we have a visit from Captain Gene Bradley from Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office ! He serves as the Mental Health Coordinator for Oklahoma County and is fully immersed in the community. Today he came by and picked up some more MyCare iPads for officers to have in their arsenal. We are proud of the work Captain Gene Bradley and Oklahoma County are doing to respond to crisis situations.

This week is National Co-Responder and Crisis Responder Week, a dedicated time to celebrate and honor the many co-responders and crisis responders carrying out this important work across the country.

These responders provide immediate support to individuals experiencing a behavioral health crisis while also strengthening the community’s overall safety and wellbeing.

With the rising demand for mental health and substance use services, MyCare is more vital than ever. We help connect individuals experiencing mental health challenges with behavioral health resources while reducing strain on courts, correctional facilities, and law enforcement agencies.

The Out of the Darkness Walk in Oklahoma City this past weekend was very well-attended! It was wonderful meeting so many people, hearing their stories, and learning what brought them out to the walk.
