Yesterday, 180 Medical attended the 15th Annual OKC Women in Leadership Conference at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City. This year’s theme, Rhythms & Resonance, reflected the impact of finding your voice, building momentum, and leading with intention.

It was a day filled with inspiration, insight, and meaningful connections. We’re proud to celebrate the women at 180 Medical who lead with purpose and bring their unique strengths to everything they do.

Happy anniversary with 180, Patrick! ⭐

Join us in celebrating Patrick's 10th anniversary with 180 Medical! To commemorate this big milestone, we're making a donation to the charity of his choice, Breakthrough T1D.

Patrick shares how meaningful this cause is to him: "I’d love for this donation to be in honor of my niece, Reagan, who was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at just 2 years old. At an age when most children are learning their colors and how to tie their shoes, she was learning about insulin, finger pricks, and blood sugar numbers. She didn’t choose this fight. It chose her.

I’ve watched her endure things no child should ever have to endure, and yet she faces it with more courage than most adults ever will. She is the bravest little girl I know.

Watching my sister and brother-in-law take care of my niece and seeing how it affects their lives is not easy. I pray for the day when no parent has to hear this diagnosis, and no child has to carry the weight of this autoimmune disease. Until that day comes, we will fight for her and for every child like her.”

Christa hit her 10th anniversary with 180 Medical this year, and we’re so excited to honor her with a donation to the charity of her choice, Mutt Misfits Animal Rescue Society.

Mutt Misfits is a nonprofit foster-based rescue for dogs and cats in Oklahoma City, focusing on animals that need extra love and care, such as seniors and fur-babies with medical conditions.

Happy 10th anniversary with 180, Nate!

We're wishing Nate a very happy 10 year anniversary with 180 Medical! In his honor, we’re donating to the charitable organization of his choice, the Melanoma Research Foundation.

Nate shares, "This is an important cause for me. In June of 2024, my wife Maura was diagnosed with a type of invasive melanoma while she was 36 weeks pregnant with our third child, Tate. Her doctors decided we needed to have Tate ASAP so that they could perform a wider surgical excision to remove the affected tissue and also carry out a lymph node biopsy. She was induced and healthy baby Tate was born days later, then she immediately had the surgery. Unfortunately, the melanoma was in her lymph nodes, and she had to start treatment immediately. She did one year of immunotherapy, with infusions every three weeks, and just completed her last one and rung the bell in August!

I would like to donate to the Melanoma Research Foundation in the hopes that it will help fund continued research for better, safer, and less invasive treatments along with preventative care. Metastasized Invasive Melanoma has historically been a cancer with a poor prognosis, a very high recidivism rate, and hasn't responded well to traditional cancer treatments. However, with the advent of immunotherapies and other treatments, people like my wife Maura and our family can have a smoother treatment process, a better shot at beating it, and a great chance at a normal, long, healthy life with lower chance of it coming back."

Happy 10th Anniversary with 180, Stephanie!

This month, we’re excited to celebrate Stephanie’s 10-year anniversary with 180 Medical! In her honor, we’re donating to a charitable organization close to her heart, Be There Ministries.

She shares, “Be There Ministries is a Christ-centered ministry serving vulnerable families in Ethiopia through sponsorship, counseling, education, and sustainable business development. They help meet physical, emotional, and spiritual needs to transform lives and communities. I can personally attest to the real, lasting impact of this mission.”

Jessy is celebrating her 10-year anniversary with 180 Medical this month! In her honor, we’re proud to donate to the charity of her choice, RAINN.

She shares, “RAINN’s mission is to stop sexual violence by supporting survivors, holding perpetrators accountable, and creating safer communities. This organization holds a signification place in my heart. With this donation, I am wishing more survivors will find the resources and support they need to heal, grow and live the vibrant lives they deserve.”

It’s always a special week when our 180 Medical family comes together! Each quarter, we host Homecoming Week at our Oklahoma City headquarters, a time for our local employees to reconnect, celebrate successes, and take part in fun team activities.
