One of our most common questions is what does healing from Fraxel Skin Resurfacing actually look like?
Our sweet client documented her skin throughout the week after treating her face + eyes so you can see the real, day-by-day process!
✨ Treatment Evening�Redness + heat, similar to a strong sunburn.
✨ The Morning After�This is when swelling is typically at its peak — especially around the eyes. A few hours later, you can already see it gradually going down.
✨ Day 2�Bronzy, tight, and textured. Skin will feel like sandpaper during this stage. This is completely normal and part of the resurfacing process!
✨ Day 3�Peeling begins. Skin can look uneven here — but look closely and you’ll see that fresh baby skin peeking through underneath.
✨ Day 4�Most of the peeling has resolved, with some residual flaking around the hairline and jawline.
✨ Day 5�The glow. Notice how smooth, even, and refreshed her skin looks!
This is the “trust the process” week. A few days of downtime in exchange for brighter tone, softer lines, improved texture, and long-term collagen stimulation.
