✏️BACK TO SCHOOL BASH 2025✏️

We’re right at two weeks away from our first ever back to school bash! We can’t wait to celebrate with our community, our staff members and our residents families.

🎉Here are a few more details about our event:🎉
•August 9th from 10am-2pm
•We will have all of our games, prizes, activities and backpacks in our OUTSIDE main parking lot. Additional parking may be found in the west parking lot or at the church on the west side as well.
•For the overall safety and wellbeing of our residents, we politely ask that, unless you are a family member or friend of a resident- no access to inside the building will be granted.
•We will have SIXTY FREE backpacks full of school supplies and much more!
•Our vendors and local businesses will have booths set up with free items or games
•The back to school bash is a COMPLETELY FREE event (unless we’re officially able to score a food truck or something then that would require money.)

✨DONATIONS ARE WELCOME BUT NOT NECESSARY✨
(If you are interested in making a donation, please be sure to get with our Administrator-Merica Corr.)

We want to formally invite our local community, resident families and our staff to join us for our first ever Back to School Bash!

Saturday, August 9th from 10am - 2pm

-We will have school supplies for those in need (while supplies last)
-Fun games
-Face painting
-Bounce house

Hall 200 is moving along nicely, we have nine completely gutted and remodeled skilled or private pay rooms with Jack and Jill bathrooms. Additionally, new furniture, new decor, new flooring throughout the hallway, and lastly, a completely transformed shower room! Our contractors and construction team have been putting in some serious work to wrap up this hallway to move to another. We’re putting some final touches together to make sure that your loved one’s skilled stay at Capitol Hill is both encouraging and supportive of their care needs.

Tonight we celebrated our nurses by treating them to a wonderful dinner prepared by our awesome dietary staff, ate yummy cake that Refuge Care Hospice provided, and showering them with gifts.

We want to thank a very special person for organizing such a wonderful dinner and thoughtful gifts; our administrator, Merica, has spent countless hours working on this for our nurses, and we’re so thankful!
