We’re excited to announce our
🍬CANDYPALOOZA🍬 event!

In order to prepare our leadership team for the upcoming Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo Bash with Character Connection Co., we need YOUR help!

From August 25th to October 15th we are accepting
individually wrapped candy donations. This year Character Connection Co., is projecting to see over ONE THOUSAND guests at their annual event! Meaning-we’ve got to bring the candy and LOTS of it!

👻YOU CAN HELP:👻
•Bring candy of at least 180 pieces
•Visit the front office
•Fill out the information slip
•Leave your candy in the box and the slip in the container

We will be giving away TWO sets of tickets to this magical event at the enchanted Harn Homestead. There is no cap or maximum amount of entry times as long as each entry is accompanied by a bag of candy totaling 180 pieces or more!
We will contact our lucky winners on October 15th.

🎃Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo Bash🎃

📍EVENT DETAILS:
•When: Sunday, October 19th
•Where: Harn Homestead, 1721 N. Lincoln Blvd
• EVERY PERSON ENTERING THE EVENT REQUIRES A TICKET ON THE SAME LEVEL AS THE REST OF THEIR PARTY. ONLY CHILDREN 12 MONTHS AND UNDER DO NOT REQUIRE A TICKET
•TICKET TIMES: 5 pm-VIP Hour, 6 pm-GA Hour (GREAT for kiddos with early bedtimes), 7 pm- GA Hour (Spooky fun under the stars)
•Tickets are available for purchase NOW at their website!

Our Leadership Team will be out and about the day of the 🎃Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo Bash🎃! We will have more details very soon on how our community can help serve and support this annual event.

It's a storybook Halloween brought to life with unforgettable characters, immersive sets, and real magic around every corner.

ps: Our administrator, Merica, has attended this event the past two years, and her advice is to get your tickets NOW because you won’t be disappointed in this spectacular, spellbinding showcase!

✏️BACK TO SCHOOL BASH 2025✏️

We’re right at two weeks away from our first ever back to school bash! We can’t wait to celebrate with our community, our staff members and our residents families.

🎉Here are a few more details about our event:🎉
•August 9th from 10am-2pm
•We will have all of our games, prizes, activities and backpacks in our OUTSIDE main parking lot. Additional parking may be found in the west parking lot or at the church on the west side as well.
•For the overall safety and wellbeing of our residents, we politely ask that, unless you are a family member or friend of a resident- no access to inside the building will be granted.
•We will have SIXTY FREE backpacks full of school supplies and much more!
•Our vendors and local businesses will have booths set up with free items or games
•The back to school bash is a COMPLETELY FREE event (unless we’re officially able to score a food truck or something then that would require money.)

✨DONATIONS ARE WELCOME BUT NOT NECESSARY✨

🍎BACK TO SCHOOL BASH🍎

We want to formally invite our local community, resident families and our staff to join us for our first ever Back to School Bash!

Saturday, August 9th from 10am - 2pm

-We will have school supplies for those in need (while supplies last)
-Fun games

Hall 200 is moving along nicely, we have nine completely gutted and remodeled skilled or private pay rooms with Jack and Jill bathrooms. Additionally, new furniture, new decor, new flooring throughout the hallway, and lastly, a completely transformed shower room! Our contractors and construction team have been putting in some serious work to wrap up this hallway to move to another. We’re putting some final touches together to make sure that your loved one’s skilled stay at Capitol Hill is both encouraging and supportive of their care needs.
