It's somehow humbling to imagine that an individual with such personality, depth and character can simply be plucked from our lives by something so benign sounding as an "accident". Tim Soult has been the spice in almost all our lives. His presence has enriched so many experiences. Every dinner with him became an event. Every bottle of wine a rare vintage. Every hunting outing was a safari and every trip an experience of a lifetime. Tim made my life better. I am all the richer for having known him and being able to say he was my friend. I am all the poorer now he is gone.

Drs. Rodney Miles and Tim Soult were the two men who died after an all-terrain vehicle accident on Sunday in Hughes County. Their bodies were found Monday.
