The CARE Center is closed in observance of Memorial Day and will return to normal operating hours on Tuesday, May 26th.

Our CEO, Hillary, serves on the Advisory Board for the OSU-OKC Crime Victim/Survivor Services Program. This is one of just a few programs like it in the country and we are so lucky to have it here in our community. The program offers both an Associates Degree and Certificate options focused on advocacy, trauma-informed care, and supporting victims and survivors in our community.

We’re grateful for opportunities to collaborate with programs that share The CARE Center’s mission of bringing hope and healing to children and families impacted by trauma and abuse.🧡

Every child deserves to feel safe, heard, and protected. In Oklahoma, more than 13,000 children were confirmed victims of abuse and neglect in 2025, yet many cases still go unreported.

The CARE Center exists to reduce trauma for child abuse victims and their families, with a vision to end child abuse in Oklahoma County. One way we are working toward that vision is through ROAR, a body safety program created by The CARE Center and launched in 2017.🧡

ROAR is an evidence-informed program that teaches children about body safety, safe adults, and the importance of speaking up.

Since 2017, ROAR has:
• Partnered with more than 100 schools and community organizations across Oklahoma
• Educated more than 125,000 cumulative attendees
• Expanded to 30 active licensees nationwide
