Last week, our staff had the privilege of volunteering at Citizens Caring for Children. Citizens Caring for Children serves the needs of Oklahoma children living in foster care by providing clothing, personal hygiene items, resources and continued support focused on education to build a brighter tomorrow. ☀

"Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse"
Friday, July 25th, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM

During this session you will:

✔ Gain confidence in properly reporting suspected child abuse and neglect.
✔ Develop skills to listen with empathy and gather important information when a child discloses abuse.
✔ Understand the nuances of physical abuse, sexual abuse, and neglect, including how to distinguish between poverty and neglect, and learn to identify their associated signs, symptoms, and behaviors.
✔ Learn to recognize grooming behaviors to better safeguard children from potential harm.
✔ Empower yourself to protect children with critical knowledge to address child abuse and neglect.
