Meet Award-Winning Scientist -Dr. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Tram
A Chance Meeting Defines Dr. Tram’s Lifelong Passion
In the early 1990s, Dr. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Tram was already an established botanical researcher and formulator in Europe. She returned to her homeland determined to research and categorize Vietnam’s health-promoting plants. She wanted to let the world know: the forests of Vietnam hold botanical treasures.
During her expeditions, Dr. Tram took a break at a small tea stand near Hue, Vietnam’s former Imperial capital. The tea seller told her about an herb that the Royal doctors once used. Dr. Tram followed the woman into the forest to see “The King’s Herb”—Crinum plants growing in the wild. Thus began a 30-year quest.
Crila Health was born
The Company was founded in 2007 by a group of investors and supporters - both men and women—who had taken Dr. Tram’s products, experienced the impressive effects, and wanted to ensure the products could be shared with U.S. and international consumers. We supported Dr. Tram in her plantation expansion and construction of her leading-edge, FDA-registered manufacturing facility, and we laid the framework to bring Crila products to American consumers.
In 2010 we achieved that goal, launching Crila’s U.S. website. Crila Health continues to grow exponentially as satisfied customers recommend Crila® products for uterine and prostate and hormone health to their friends and family! Today, our management team and advisory board includes researchers, doctors, and international investment leaders.
