🩺❤️After a few weeks, here are some of the joys of being a DPC doctor!!

I came in to the lab to see my daughter playing with the EKG leads as hair clips, made a bunch of yummy and healthy dinners, and got to celebrate a doctor-in-training! Can’t wait for more fun moments to come!!

On our team we have Karina Orozco! She is our Medical Administrative Assistant and some may also refer to her as our All-Star. ⭐️

Karina is your first point of contact when you call our office and she helps walk you through the process of enrolling and answering any questions you may have regarding Direct Primary Care and its value.

She handles scheduling, dispensing your medications from our in-house pharmacy, draws your blood and so much more!

Karina has a passion for helping others and loves to create a welcoming space for all patients to come as they are.

Fun fact: She taught herself how to play guitar at 14 years old and believes that any goal is attainable if you set your mind to it and commit!

Dr. McLaurin enjoys running, traveling, and savoring delicious foods! She is passionate about caring for the whole person, supporting health in families and improving primary care in Oklahoma City and beyond.

Foundations Principle #4: Lifelong Learning. One evidence of human flourishing is the desire and ability to learn new skills and knowledge. We are always developing and honing our clinical skills to better care for our patients. This year, Dr. McLaurin has enjoyed adding POCUS (point of care ultrasound) and PRP/PRF (platelet rich plasma and platelet rich fibrin) to her tool box. Lifelong learning is fun, and we love seeing our Foundations Family Members geek out as they thrive in their spheres of influence as well!
