The Yoga Nest owned by Kat Parker (certified Samatava yoga instructor who specializes in Yoga for Women and Prenatal Yoga) is a small space great for intimate classes ( 10 students or less ) and Private lessons. All posture supporting props are provided. This includes Mats, straps, yoga blankets, bolsters, and blocks. NOTE: the Yoga Nest LLC studio is NOT a walk in studio with daily open hours. To

Left side resting after a gentle prenatal yoga routine is the best and most important posture to practice. Why the left? It allows optimal circulation and nutrient delivery to your baby and placenta, allows kidneys to filter waste and fluid during sleep. Your uterus grows up and to the right, opposite of the heart, so this allows for more space for your uterus to grow. Left side lying keeps weight off of your liver, and helps baby move into a favorable birth position. Resting on your right side is not bad whatsoever, your left side is just a bit better.
