Fridays at the Boathouse! 🚣

Every week, our kids put up the textbooks and grab their oars. Yes, it’s PE, but it’s more than that.

It’s laughter.
It’s fresh air.
It’s teamwork.
It’s the joy of being a normal teenager.

They even get to line up and compete with other high schools a few times a year — and let me tell you, they light up with pride. 🙌

This is what Mission Academy is all about: giving teens in recovery the chance to grow, belong, and dream big again. 💙🧡💚

We’re downtown at Scissortail Park tonight for the 6th Annual Prevention and Recovery in the Park! We’re here to connect families to resources and join in the community effort to prevent overdose and substance abuse in Oklahoma County. We’re grateful for Substance Use Prevention Alliance Oklahoma County and DCCCA for their commitment to creating a safer and healthier Oklahoma.

🎓 Mission Academy is the only recovery high school in Oklahoma.
And we don’t receive a dime of government funding.

That means every class, every counselor, every hard-earned diploma is made possible by people like you.

Our students are fighting for their lives — and for their future.
You can help make that fight winnable.

💙 $25/month helps cover textbooks.
💙 $50/month provides counseling support.
💙 $100/month helps keep a student enrolled in a safe, sober learning environment.

Will you stand with them?

🌱 Maya didn’t just graduate. She survived. And then she thrived.

When Maya came to Teen Recovery as a sophomore, she was scared, angry, and lost.

Within two weeks, it was clear she needed more help than we could give alone. We worked with her family to get her into treatment — and when she returned, she began to heal.

Recovery wasn’t a straight line. But each time she stumbled, she came back stronger.

Eventually, she decided:
She was done using.
She was enough.

Since then, Maya has:
✔️ Graduated our recovery program
✔️ Mentored other students
✔️ Held two jobs
✔️ Earned her high school diploma
✔️ Enrolled at OU

At graduation, her father said:
“Without the staff and program at TRS, I don’t think she would be alive today.”

💙 This is what recovery looks like.
💙 This is what your support makes possible.

To protect her privacy, Maya’s name has been changed — but her story is real.

🎒🏫 Backpacks, books … and a new beginning.

At Mission Academy, our students are starting the year with more than supplies.

They’re starting with hope.
They’re starting with support.
They’re starting with an environment where they can thrive in recovery.

As school starts up again, will you help us empower more students on their path to a new life? 💙🧡💚 https://helpteensok.org/give

💙🧡💚 For 25 years, Teen Recovery has been reshaping futures.

One teen at a time.
One family at a time.
One day at a time.

Through our recovery high school, peer support groups, and a team that gets it, we help teens overcome addiction and build meaningful, healthy lives.

But we can’t do it without you. Mission Academy is the only high school of its kind in the state. As we celebrate 25 years, we’re asking you to make sure we’re here for 25 more.

Our Story

Teen Recovery Solutions is a comprehensive drug and alcohol recovery program designed for adolescents. We offer an independent high school that helps teens catch up and advance academically in a recovery-based learning environment. During the evenings and weekends, teens participate in individual and family counseling, sober social events, and three recovery retreats a year. Our staff is particularly qualified to work with this unique demographic that includes licensed counselors, certified teachers, and recovery coaches who serve as mentors to youth and family. We believe that recovery should be fun!

“It’s not easy being a single mom rearing a teen boy who is addicted to drugs and alcohol. I knew I was quickly losing my son, and I didn’t know where to turn. Since my son started at Teen Recovery Solutions, his entire outlook on life has changed, and so has mine. For the first time in years, we are communicating in a positive way and have become a family again -- able to talk, listen, and communicate effectively. He is successful in school and will be graduating on time with his class. He has grown in personal responsibility and works outside of school while maintaining sober, healthy relationships with friends he has made at TRS. Our family has the support of the other TRS students, parents, and professional staff who help us over the bumps of life and rejoice with us in our successes.” - Parent
