Dr. James Mitchell is an Oklahoma City native with deep roots in the healthcare community. Raised by a nursing supervisor, mother and pharmacist father, his path in medicine was inspired early — and his commitment to patients has only grown since. After completing medical school in Oklahoma City, orthopedic training in Kansas, and a fellowship in hip and knee replacement at the University of Utah, Dr. Mitchell returned home to do what he does best: help patients regain mobility and get back to the lives they love.

His philosophy is simple — deliver the highest quality outcomes with exceptional, personalized care. From the first consultation through full recovery, his focus is on making every patient feel comfortable, confident, and supported.

Meet Dr. Michael Alvarado — board-certified anesthesiologist and interventional pain management physician at OneCore Health. 🩺

Dr. Alvarado trained at Ross University School of Medicine, completed his anesthesiology residency at the University of Kansas–Wichita, and went on to fellowship in interventional pain management at LSU Health–Shreveport.

His mission? Helping patients live pain-free through innovative, individualized care that blends advanced techniques with a genuine personal touch.
