Making time visible helps things run more smoothly, especially during busy days or big transitions.

Analog (not digital!) watches, timers, and wall clocks can all offer just enough structure to keep things moving without constant reminders.

👉 Here's a tip: Place a visual timer near homework or work stations to help track focus time without needing to watch the clock.

Sometimes it’s the simplest tools that make the biggest difference.

This is a good tip from .

One effective strategy for supporting executive functioning is to make things visual. When expectations or end goals are hard to visualize, it can be challenging to initiate tasks, especially those that seem difficult or boring. Planning for future events, organizing thoughts for writing, comprehending what we read, following multi-step directions, and remembering schedules or agendas can also become more difficult. By making these elements visual, you can help bridge the gap between intention and action, making it easier to manage these tasks.
