We appreciate everyone’s patience and continued efforts to register in the vaccine scheduler portal. As a reminder, as people receive their email confirmation stating they are eligible for an appointment, this does not guarantee an appointment slot will be available for that week. Please note, appointment availability is entirely dependent upon vaccine supply. Please check back on Thursday mornings as new appointments will be loaded onto the system for the following week based on local vaccine supply. If you have questions, visit https://oklahoma.gov/covid19/vaccine-information.html or call 2-1-1.

You may not realize it, but when you are out and about in the community and wearing a mask, you are helping defend our nation by keeping your teammates at Tinker Air Force Base from getting COVID-19.

The CDC and WHO have acknowledged that the virus is transmitted through aerosolized breath, so if you wear a mask and maintain a 6-foot distance the chance of you contracting the virus is lower. But much more importantly, if you have the virus and don’t know it, your chance of transmitting it to others while you are wearing a mask is greatly reduced. You really are protecting others.
