24 Years Later… Still Grateful

I really like my profession. Today reminded me why.

I saw Mr. Clint* —now 76 years old. He was one of my very first patients when I opened my private practice… 24 years ago. Back then, I thought he was old. Now? I’m older than he was then. Funny how perspective shifts.

But one thing hasn’t changed—he’s still as eccentric, heartwarming, and lovely as ever.

Clint is from North Dakota and grew up on an 800-acre ranch. Just remembering the details, the quirks, the stories… it’s one of the greatest gifts of this profession. I’ve had the privilege of treating patients from every walk of life, and I am blessed.
