Dr. Myrin is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee replacement including robotic assisted replacement and revisions. Dr. Myrin grew up in Broken Arrow, OK, and attended Oklahoma State University. He graduated with a degree in Industrial Engineering and Management as well as a Bachelor of Science in Physiology.
During college, several volunteer and leadership positions compelled him to explore medicine as a career as he realized his true desire to help people directly. Working as a medical assistant, completing EMT training, and working at The Children’s Center in Bethany, OK, confirmed that medicine was his ideal career.
Dr. Myrin attended the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. Growing up, he and his father, a mechanic, enjoyed working with their hands on various projects, so orthopedic surgery was a natural choice for Dr. Myrin.He completed residency at Baylor Scott & White where he decided to pursue joint replacement as a subspecialty. He went on to complete a fellowship in adult reconstruction at the world-renowned Cleveland Clinic (one of the top three orthopedic hospitals in the world as ranked by US News and World Report) where he was trained on the latest techniques in both surgical and non-surgical treatment of advanced joint disease.
