I am announcing my retirement the end of this year. Due to health issues, I just can't keep up with the demands of maintaining an office presence. If any patients need copies of their records, they will be available by contacting me at adminOKC@lifetimeeyesolutions.com

I have so enjoyed my career and cherish my patients, staff and my myopia management kids. This has been a very satisfying and fulfilling career. I know that I made a difference in people's lives which kept me going when times got tough.

I also want to thank my staff who have been stellar. Please if anyone knows of a job, I am writing them a top-notch letter of recognition, so please help me find them a place to land.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I'm looking forward to retirement but also it is bittersweet to say goodbye to such a wonderful life serving my community and friends over the past 40+ years.

Do you and your spouse have myopia? Do your children have a high risk for developing myopia.. possibly? Do they spend at least 2 hours outdoors everyday or do they spend a lot of time on devices? All of these factors contribute to how much nearsightedness they may develop in their lifetimes. Why does this matter? Well it impacts their ability to learn, to participate in many sports, but also it is a disease that has real pathology implications such as retinal detachments, myopia maculopathy, glaucoma, and other very life changing problems. However, don't despair, we at Lifetime Eyecare Solutions, specialize in a program to manage the progression of the patient's myopia by minimizing the axial length. When you make an appointment we reserve that time just for you. Therefore we do request that if you are unable to make that appointment, that you cancel that appointment 24-48 hrs in advance. We will start a missed appointment fee of $ 45. If you are running late we will allow 10 min and still be able to honor your appointment, however, if you are later than that time we will consider you a walk in and will give the other patients who have appointments priority and keep their appointments in a timely manner. We will try to get you seen but not before those who made and kept their appointments. It may be necessary to reschedule, and we are happy to do that for you.
