This , we’re sharing stories of hope and healing made possible through support, commitment and care.

Terryon’s journey has not been linear. She gained and lost sobriety more than once, until a turning point changed everything. After her children were removed from the home, Terryon says her higher power told her it was time to make a change.

She moved into City Rescue Mission for a fresh start and began working her recovery program diligently. With the partnership and support of her NorthCare team, Terryon rebuilt her life step by step.

Today, Terryon has stable housing, her children are home, and she’s back in school working toward becoming a drug and alcohol recovery counselor. Her story is a powerful reminder that recovery is not just about surviving. It is about building a future.

Hope is real. Healing happens. And recovery is possible. 💚

During Mental Health Awareness Month, we pause to recognize the people who do the work day in and day out.

Mental Health Provider Appreciation Day honors the therapists, peer specialists, nurses, prescribers, case managers, administrative staff and others on our care teams who help individuals make sense of hard moments, navigate recovery and build healthier futures.

To our NorthCare staff across the state: your work matters. Your care matters. And so do you.

To our community: we are here to support the professionals who support you, because strong mental health care starts with strong connections.

Today, we say thank you. 💚

Stigma thrives in silence. Connection opens the door to understanding, support and help. When we speak openly, we make it easier to ask for help and easier to offer it.

If you or someone you know is struggling, support is always available. Call (405) 858-2700 option 1, or call or text 988. Help is here 24/7.

April might be over, but our commitment to Oklahoma’s children and families continues every day. Child Abuse Prevention Month gives this work a moment in the spotlight, but our team carries it forward long after the blue ribbons come down. 🩵

The moments captured last month reflect the heart of our staff. You can see their energy in the way they show up for families, their care in the way they connect with communities and their dedication in every event, training and conversation.

They listen. They advocate. They problem solve. They walk alongside families, supporting and encouraging with steadiness and compassion.

We’re grateful for every provider, coordinator, specialist, home visitor and support staff member who makes safety, stability and hope possible year-round!

🌱🌎 Growing hope, together.

This , staff at our Meridian location planted seeds in the front flower beds, symbolizing the growth, safety and healing we work to nurture in Oklahoma’s children and families during Child Abuse Prevention Month.

Spending time outside matters, too. Research shows that even a short amount of time in nature can support better mental health by helping reduce stress and improve overall well‑being. One recent Harvard study found that as little as 15 minutes in nature can make a meaningful difference for mental health, especially in busy, built environments.

Today and always, we’re celebrating the power of care for children, for families and for the world we share. 💙🌼
