🌟 Head Start programs offer early intervention services, including physical, occupational, and speech therapy, to help children reach important developmental milestones.

Hannah, one of Sunbeam’s Assistant Teachers, shared the story of a young child who arrived with significant physical delays. Sitting up was difficult, and movement was limited. But with consistent care, therapeutic support, and a classroom full of encouragement, he began to explore, grow stronger, and eventually take his first steps.

Head Start is here for them, every step of the way. 💙

At Sunbeam, we know that early childhood is an important window- not just for learning, but for building trust, healing from hard things, developing connections, and finding hope.

At Harbison Early Education Center, we welcomed a young child who had already experienced more transitions than most adults. He entered our center while in foster care, needing extra love and support. When he began reunifying with his biological mom, our team wrapped support around both of them, offering stability, encouragement, and care.

Today, he’s thriving, his mom is receiving the support she needs, and their bond is stronger than ever.

✨ This is what Head Start does: we offer stability, support, and a safe place to grow while walking alongside families navigating foster care, reunification, and everything in between.
