At Oklahoma Proton Center, we know cancer treatment affects more than just a diagnosis — it impacts every part of a patient’s life.

That’s why we’re excited to launch Cancer PALS in collaboration with WiTT. Cancer PALS, which stands for Patients Are Loved and Supported, is an easy-to-use support platform that helps connect cancer patients with the people who want to help them most.

Through the Cancer PALS Support Registry, patients can privately share specific needs, whether it’s help with groceries, rent, meals, transportation, childcare, or simply emotional support. Friends, family, coworkers, and even community supporters can step in and help in meaningful ways without having to guess what’s needed.

Funding support for patients is made possible through Proton Pals Foundation, whose mission is helping cancer patients and families navigate the emotional and financial challenges that often come with treatment.

At Oklahoma Proton Center, we believe no patient should go through cancer alone — and Cancer PALS is another way we’re building a stronger circle of care for every patient we serve.

Recently, OU Track & Field athletes Kendall Johnson and Nebtom Nda visited the Oklahoma Proton Center to serve lunch to patients, tour the facility, and take part in our patient graduation ceremony.

We’re grateful to Kendall and Nebtom for taking the time to visit and support our Proton Center family. Thank you both for bringing such kindness and positivity to our patients and staff!

Surrounded by his family and with his grandson in his arms, Thomas recently rang the bell signifying the end of his treatment at the Proton Center. It was a powerful reminder of what this journey is all about.

Thomas has spent a lifetime serving and protecting others with strength and courage. Now, we celebrate him and this incredible milestone in his own fight.

Congratulations Thomas! đź””

The relationships built here often last far beyond treatment.

Recently, former patients Karl Peters and Paul Fields returned to the Oklahoma Proton Center to give back by serving lunch to our staff as a thank you for the care they received during treatment. Their words remind us why compassion, kindness, and connection matter so much throughout the cancer journey.

A big thank you to Karl and Paul for their generosity, encouragement, and for taking the time to give back in such a meaningful way. We are honored to have been part of your journey.
