Thanks to the ladies for making this trip come together and keeping the surprise going for so long. I almost called him and caved daily from excitement leading up lol. .schock

Was also great to really be back on the mats in a tough environment. Can’t recommend spot enough if you’re in the area. He took great care of us on Memorial Day and provided us with serious training coupled with serious laughs.

Feet Out = compensation

Producing and absorbing force will be impacted, potentially making you more prone to pain / injury

When you compensate things become inefficient and greatly impact the joints / tissue upstream

Big changes don’t happen overnight. They happen slowly through consistency that is carried out over a long period of time

How do your feet hang out? What sort of story do they tell? After all, either you control them or THEY WILL control you :)

We look for science to save us from disease

Well… look for science to save you from exercise addiction

You just need a few good intentional days of structured strength work

Outside of that it really comes down to being physically active and enjoying life - PLAY!

Let’s obsess over play as much as we are obsessing over exercise programs, dietary trends, and forcing ourselves toward inevitable burnout or injury

Now is this a bad message to be spreading? No - not at all. We need them and they’re very useful in many conditions for rehab, health, and performance.

But don’t get distracted by the shirtless teens on curated videos citing studies - find the grizzled vet with real years of application with these things. Thanks all :)

This is wild. A real problem is people out here choosing processed, chemically engineered frankenfoods over good ol’ REAL FOOD that gasp doesn’t come with a side of killer dyes. It’s like a South Park episode, but less funny and way more tragic. Obesity’s not packing its bags anytime soon now that we’ve won a war on chemical coloring folks.

Needing to lose weight or move the body composition needle some in a more favorable direction?

Try using a backloading technique

Meaning simply keep your meals protein / fat focused for daytime meals, and leave the carbs for dinner time

(yes some veggies are okay here - just avoid the higher carb starches, breads, and grains)

Try this for a month and see what happens

Recap:
Daytime - limit carbs especially starchy ones
Evening - enjoy some carbs - just don’t be an ass about it
