Here at Variety Care we continue to meet expectations of a higher level of service and quality! A new position, Chief of Communications and Governmental Affairs, has been created to support our growth and communication needs.

Summary:

It is the responsibility of the Chief Communication and Government Affairs Officer to design and implement the Variety Care wide communication strategy for engagement internally and externally as it pertains to government officials, both state and federal. The Chief Communication and Government Affairs officers main responsibilities are to: (1) oversee the communication department and all internal communications at Variety Care and direct strategic and tactical communication initiatives for Variety Care; (2) oversee and implement all efforts related to government affairs communication; (3) handle all media inquiries, statements and appearances and work with media to highlight strategic messages from Variety Care; and (4) serve as a member of the Variety Care Executive Team and align communications with the strategic visions of the Board of Directors and the Executive team.
