Happy Administrative Professionals Day!

Today, we’re shouting out one of the most vital members of our team: Rhonda Veverica!

Rhonda has dedicated over 20 years to the behavioral health field. For the last 4 years at Mindful Play ABA, she’s been our hero behind the scenes - handling everything from billing and insurance to credentialing to help ensure our families and staff have a seamless experience.
She is a a true advocate for high-quality care, and we are lucky to have her on our team.

When she’s off the clock, you can find Rhonda cheering at her granddaughter’s wrestling matches or relaxing with her favorite home improvement shows.

Rhonda, we truly couldn’t do this without you. Thank you for all you do!

Happy National Siblings Day!

Siblings of children with autism are secret superheroes, often navigating a world much bigger than we realize. While they are frequently wiser and more mature than their peers, they also face unique weight on their shoulders.

According to ASERT, these "super-siblings" often deal with:

- Parental responsibility (helping out at a young age)
- Feelings of isolation from peers who might not "get it"
- Complex emotions: Balancing love with fear, anger, or even embarrassment
- Guilt for having those very human feelings

We see you, and we are all in this together! Supporting the whole family - not just our learners - is how we truly thrive.

We had an amazing day celebrating Autism Awareness & Acceptance 💙

This morning, our team had the opportunity to represent our clinic at the State Capitol - connecting with parents, providers, and community members to share the heart behind what we do.

Back at the clinic, we kept the celebration going by wearing blue in support of the children and families we serve every day. It was so special to see our team come together for such an important cause.

We are incredibly grateful for our dedicated staff and the passion they bring to this field. And a big thank you to Autism Foundation of Oklahoma for putting together such an amazing event!

Autism is not something to “fix” - it’s something to understand, support, and celebrate. Every child brings unique strengths, perspectives, and potential, and we are honored to witness and help them grow.
