Over the summer I took a step back from seeing patients. I was still part of our daily operations, I just wasn’t doing direct patient care. After losing Henry, I wasn’t ready to come back to work in the same way. As a therapist, you have to pour everything into your patients—and I knew I couldn’t compromise the standard of care I worked so hard to build at K Square. I can’t, won’t, and REFUSE to hold a therapy session when I am not 100%.
Instead, I leaned on the incredible team of therapists I’ve been blessed with. They carried caseloads with the same compassion, skill, and ethical care our families deserve, while I worked behind the scenes. Though I couldn’t give 100% in direct patient care, I focused on the bigger picture for our future.
That bigger picture?? We bought a building.
This new space will allow us to expand our services to help support families in our community. We are committed to offering care that is not only exceptional, but also rooted in empathy, integrity, and community.
Stay tuned—BIG things are coming. A full remodel, building expansions, and an exciting new chapter for K Square Therapy.
