🇺🇸 SUPPORT SMALL BUSINESS — VOTE NO ON STATE QUESTION 832 🇺🇸
As a small business owner, I understand firsthand how hard family-owned businesses are already working just to keep prices fair, employees paid, and doors open.
State Question 832 would gradually raise Oklahoma’s minimum wage to $15/hour and then automatically increase it with inflation in future years. Supporters say it helps workers, but many small businesses are concerned about the long-term impact.
For many local shops, restaurants, farms, and small businesses, higher labor costs could mean:
• Higher prices for customers
• Reduced employee hours
• Slower hiring or fewer jobs
• Harder conditions for small family-owned businesses already operating on thin margins
Big corporations may be able to absorb these costs easier than Main Street Oklahoma businesses can.
Local businesses are the backbone of our communities. They sponsor little league teams, support local events, create jobs, and keep money in Oklahoma communities.
Before voting, take time to research both sides and consider how this could impact small businesses, family farms, and local jobs across Oklahoma.
