Muscogee Nation Department of Health Improving the Quality of Life For Our People and For Our Communities. The hospitals serve the public, including eligible Native American beneficiaries.

The Muscogee (Creek) Nation Department of Health is a tribally owned health care system in Oklahoma comprised of seven clinics and three hospitals. The clinics and programs are designed for the benefit of eligible Native American beneficiaries. Hospitals: Creek Nation Community Hospital- Okemah, Muscogee Creek Nation Medical Center- Okmulgee, The Physical Rehabilitation Center- Okmulgee which houses a Long-term Acute Care Hospital, Skilled Nursing Facility, and outpatient Physical, Occupational, Speech, Aquatics, and Cardiac Rehab therapy programs. Clinics: Eufaula, Koweta, Okemah, Okmulgee Clinic & Express Clinic, Sapulpa, Wetumka

Yesterday’s Diabetes Awareness Summit reminded us how much progress our Diabetes team is driving:

✨ 17,000+ visits across 7 clinics
✨ 80% of patients with an A1c under 8%
✨ Obesity rates down from 70% to 58%

Because of their dedication, we’ve seen more progress in diabetic care over the last two years than at any other time in our history!

In observance of Labor Day, all MCN Health Clinics and Programs will:
🔹 Close at 3PM on Friday, August 29
🔹 Remain CLOSED on Monday, September 1

The following facilities will remain open for normal business hours on Friday, August 29:
• Okmulgee & Council Oak Express Cares: 7 AM – 7 PM
• Okemah Clinic walk-ins: open until 5 PM
• Pharmacies:
– Okemah & Okmulgee: 8 AM – 5 PM
– Council Oak: 7:30 AM – 7:30 PM

Labor Day Weekend Hours (August 30–31):
• Okmulgee & Council Oak Express Cares: 9 AM – 5 PM

Monday, September 1 (Labor Day):
• All Clinics, Programs, and Express Cares: CLOSED

Normal hours will resume Tuesday, September 2.
