✨Annual Fund Drive Update✨
We are excited to share that the Annual Fund Drive has reached $4,403, which is 88% of our $5,000 goal! There are still twenty days left in the year to help us cross the finish line.

Thank You, Chris Holland

At our December board meeting, Evergreen CEO Chris Osborn presented a plaque to Chris Holland in appreciation of his six years of dedicated service on the Evergreen Living Innovations Board. Chris has completed two full terms of service on the board and is concluding his time with us due to board term limits.

He has been a steady source of leadership through the challenges of Covid and the ongoing work of our new campus development. During his tenure, he served as both Board Vice Chair and Board Chair and always kept Evergreen’s mission at the heart of every decision.

We are truly thankful for his service and commitment to Evergreen residents.

🌟 Team Member Tuesday Spotlight 🌟

Help us congratulate our November Heroes of the Month, Quinnessa “Q” B. and Cesar R.!

Q, CNA on Cottage Creek, joined Evergreen in 2025 and quickly became a leader on her neighborhood. She is passionate about the people who live at Evergreen and promotes true person-centered care. Q goes above and beyond to support her team and makes sure residents feel confident and ready for their day.

Cesar, CNA on Millcreek, brings a steady calmness to the weekends. He is patient, kind, and never rushes residents, especially during meals. Cesar anticipates needs, steps in without being asked, and is admired for his dependable, thoughtful care.

Thank you, Q and Cesar, for the compassion and teamwork you bring every day. 💚

Holiday Fun at Evergreen Community 🎄🎲

Last week, Kim from Evergreen Hospice brought in a new holiday game that quickly became a favorite. A grid was set up on the floor with six Christmas characters: Snoopy, Nutcracker, Reindeer, Santa, Snowman, and a gnome who kept tipping over, earning the name “the drunken gnome.”

Everyone picked a character to cheer for and took turns rolling the dice to see who moved and how far. The room filled up, and the competition picked up quickly. The game went on much longer than expected, and it was such a hit that people asked to put it on the regular activity schedule.

✨Annual Fund Drive Update✨

The generosity we have seen this week has been remarkable. Since our last update, more than $800 has come in, bringing our total to $3,240. We are now only $1,800 away from reaching our Annual Fund Drive goal for 2025.

We are especially moved by the gifts given in honor of people who live at Evergreen and in memory of those whose lives touched ours. It is our honor to be part of their lives, and we are deeply grateful for every donation that supports the Good Neighbor Fund.

🐾 Meet the Evergreen Pups 🐾
Next up in our series is Ollie! 💚 Ollie comes to Evergreen with our CEO, Chris, and he’s here pretty often. In Ollie’s mind, he’s running the show, but everyone knows he’s really here for staff and resident entertainment. 😄

Known for his impressive wardrobe, Ollie shows up in style for every season, holiday, and Chiefs game. From festive sweaters to pirate gear, he always knows how to dress for the occasion—and steal the spotlight while he’s at it. 🐶💚
