What a celebration! We cut the ribbon on a huge milestone for Evergreen. 🎉

Before the doors opened and everyone arrived, there was a quiet moment to take it all in, the start of a day so many people have worked toward for years. Then the excitement began. More than 200 community members, chamber members, Evergreen residents, family members, board members, and Evergreen team members gathered to celebrate the ribbon cutting of our beautiful new campus!

Guests packed the Pavilion for remarks from John Bacon, Olathe Mayor, Brent Hofelt, Olathe Chamber of Commerce Ambassador Chair, Belinda Vierthaler, CDO of Evergreen, and Chris Osborn, CEO of Evergreen, before everyone moved outside for the official ribbon cutting. With residents, team members, Evergreen Board members, and supporters gathered behind the ribbon, Chris had the honor of making the cut and opening the next chapter for Evergreen.

Guests spent the afternoon touring Independent Living, Assisted Living, Assisted Living Memory Care, and Skilled Nursing. It was especially meaningful to see Evergreen residents and their families exploring new apartments and shared spaces together for the first time. The Evergreen kitchen kept everyone well fed with a barbecue lunch, while guests continued touring, visiting, and taking in the new campus.

The energy in the building was incredible. We heard so many kind comments, felt so much excitement, and were reminded how special this moment truly is. Thank you to everyone who helped bring this vision to life and to everyone who celebrated with us. What a day for Evergreen Community.💚🌲

We’re so grateful for everyone who made this year’s Bazaar a success. Thanks to the hard work and organization of the JCYM Johnson County Young Matrons and all who donated items, we raised $1,709.50!

These funds go directly to the Resident Activity Fund, supporting meaningful experiences and opportunities for Evergreen residents throughout the year. We truly appreciate the time, effort, and generosity that made this possible. 💙

It’s World Book Day 📚

Here’s a little sneak peek of the library in the new campus. The shelves might be empty right now, but they’ll be filled before we move in this May, and it’s going to be a pretty great spot to sit for a while.

Happy Administrative Professionals Day 🎉

Today we’re celebrating a few of the people who truly keep Evergreen moving behind the scenes.

Nina, our Administrative Coordinator, is the heartbeat of the front desk. She keeps everything moving, keeps everyone on track, and somehow always knows exactly what’s going on.

Sarah, our Staffing Coordinator, knows every team member and keeps all the moving pieces of scheduling together. It’s no small task, and she handles it like a pro.

Shawna, our Communications Coordinator, keeps everyone informed and connected through our website, social media, newsletters, and more.

We appreciate each of you and all the ways you support Evergreen every day. Thank you for all you do!

April is National Volunteer Month, and we had the chance to celebrate some pretty great people at a volunteer luncheon today. 💚

Evergreen volunteers show up in all kinds of ways. Helping with activities, leading groups, setting up for events, assisting with mailings, serving on boards, supporting church services, and more. Every role matters, and it all adds up to something bigger for Evergreen residents. 🙌
