A few of you have asked why no recent social media posts on Relevant Health? If you'd like to know the scoop, read on:

I realized that in order to beat the algorithm on social media, it takes constant posting and engagement. Though I know the value of sharing tips and engaging with those of you interested in taking your wellness to the next level, I try hard to live present and spending time cultivating posts and commenting and maintaining relevance is just not my strong suit or desire.

Relevant Health and Wellness is here by word of mouth, not marketing.

The social media platforms will remain up as a means to get a feel for my values and way of doing things. But just because there are no recent posts, don't fret. I'm still right here doing all the things. :)

Sometimes it's hard to get started. Here's a few tips! If you can't afford the gym or know you won't go often enough to make a difference, start where you're at. Walking is always available!

With most of our sedentary lifestyles, why not set a goal to get out moving 4 times a week. Maybe 5? Use your lunch break. Grab some steps before work or after. Perhaps during your kids' sporting practice. Put the phone down, quit the screens, and go and MOVE.

I promise this investment will pay off much greater in the end than your scrolling.

Today's lunch bowl was COLORFUL and NUTRITIOUS.

Romaine lettuce.
Green olives.
Purple onion.
Leftover roasted carrots.
Avocado.
Blue cheese.
Tomato.
Chicken for protein.
Splash of White Balsamic Vinegar and Olive Oil to dress.

Supplement companies have you believing that you need a plethora of things to heal and thrive.

Natural doctors have you believing you need expensive protocols and costly appointments.

What if we just simplify things and go back to living by the laws set in motion at the start of creation? I'm not a fan of sharing band-aid approaches that aim to suppress symptoms....BUT....some of you will benefit from these proven STRESS MODULATION helps. These are not ROOT CAUSES though. Rather, they are things that will come alongside other lifestyle CHANGES and reduce your overall stress level.
Guys, we set ourselves up for failure nearly EVERYday, which in turn produces more cortisol and leads to further our symptoms of STRESS.
* We stare at screens too late (and too often), disrupting our circadian rhythm leading to poor sleep.

* We snooze our alarms in the morning, rushing out the door without nourishment.
