Evergreen Hospice Care, LLC serves the Johnson, Wyandotte, Leavenworth, Miami, Franklin, and Douglas counties in Kansas and provides hospice care to those who have been diagnosed with a terminal illness. We care for you and those who love you by providing the peace and comfort that allows for your life to be lived in this final stage with dignity and comfort. We also use alternative therapies as a natural way to control pain symptoms such as: aromatherapy, music therapy, pet therapy, massage therapy, spiritual care, continuous care, and bereavement counseling.

Through our JustLive! program, Evergreen Hospice helps patients experience something meaningful to them. Madeline’s wish was a trip to the zoo—and what a fabulous day it turned out to be! 🦒🐘🌿

With her family and our hospice team by her side, she enjoyed seeing the animals and simply spending time together. A beautiful reminder that even small adventures can bring so much joy. 💚

Red, white, and Jell-O! Our Evergreen Hospice Care team brought the 4th of July fun a little early to Brookdale Shawnee yesterday — and it was a celebration to remember! Residents enjoyed festive Jell-O cups with whipped cream, sherbet 7-Up floats, patriotic tunes, and even a little dancing. 💃🎶

At Evergreen, we believe comfort matters, and that means creating joyful moments, sharing sweet treats, and making memories together. ❤️💙

Through our JustLive! program, we help patients fulfill lifelong dreams and enjoy meaningful experiences—even in the midst of hospice care. From visits to favorite places to once-in-a-lifetime adventures, our goal is simple: bring joy, comfort, and unforgettable moments to our patients and their families.

Recently, one of our hospice patients shared a unique wish: he wanted to get a tattoo. Thanks to the generosity and talent of tattoo artist Ben Mactaggart (), that wish came true! Ben graciously brought his tools and time to Evergreen Community, helping this patient express himself in a powerful, lasting way. We are so grateful for Ben's kindness and skill.

Ben is an artist at John Monk's Revelation Tattoo in Kansas City.
