Transferring your loved one from bed to wheelchair to whatever, can be a challenge. Technique is important, and there are many videos on proper technique. But most important, is equipment. If you have to lift more than 40 pounds of your loved ones weight, a commercial lift is needed. Your back, their body, could otherwise be in jeopardy. There are many types on the market. Feeling a little “loco” lately? Having to get up with someone in the middle of the night? Using a bed alarm – waking the entire house? Cut out the loco with some motion – detection. We have been using motion detectors – pitched the bed alarms. A lot less false alarms – more snoozing by everyone. Many options out there in motion detection. If that doesn’t help, give us a call and leave the bleary eyes to us! 913-390-8758.
