Many of you have been with us along our journey and have ask me often “How is Brenda doing?” Brenda was our medical director here at Amelia’s Anti Aging prior to Elizabeth Henry. Brenda was a dear friend and colleague to us and she will be missed terribly💔🥹💜 RIP beautiful Brenda. We love you so very much😇
A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered. Please join us to celebrate the life of Brenda Ann Lang.
Brenda, 65, passed away peacefully in her sleep with her daughter by her side on February 11th 2024, at Kansas City Hospice Home.
Brenda was born on Ramey Airforce Base in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico to parents John and Bernice Boudreaux, on July 23rd, 1958.
Brenda had a devoted 41-year career in health care, spending 17 years as Registered Nurse, and the past 24 years as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner. She was the brightest light in any room caring for so many who loved her, including her most special patient early in her career, her husband of 39 years, Bill!
She enjoyed gardening in her unofficial master garden in the legendary Lang backyard, many Chiefs game tailgates, so many fun times at the lake, creating art mosaics in her diva den, estate sale hopping, cooking, spending time with her kitties, old school track/baseball/dance/cheer mom and her most recent joy of being MaMaw to her granddaughter, River Rose, for the past two years.
Brenda is preceded in death by brother Charles and father John Boudreaux. Brenda is survived by husband Bill Lang, son Travis Lang, daughter Kelsey Delgado, son-in-law Esteban Delgado, granddaughter River Delgado, her mother Bernice Boudreaux, sibling Ralph and sisters-in-law Carol and Rosemary Boudreaux.
To honor Brenda’s memory, we are holding a celebration of her life: Saturday, February 24th 2:00PM at Porter Funeral Home 8535 Monrovia St Lenexa, KS 66215.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Brenda’s memory can be made to the Kansas City Hospice House kchospice.org
