💧 Don’t Let Dehydration Sneak Up On You! 💧
Older adults are at higher risk for dehydration, and it can lead to UTIs, heat stroke, heart problems, kidney failure, blood clots, and even falls due to weakness, confusion, or poor coordination.

🚨 Watch for the signs:
Tiredness • Weakness • Confusion • Dry skin • Less sweating • Fainting • Trouble walking • Fast heartbeat • Sunken eyes

💦 Simple ways to stay hydrated:
Aim for 64 oz (8 glasses) of water daily
Drink after waking up, with every meal/snack, & 1 hour before bed
Enjoy water-rich foods like 🍓 strawberries, 🥒 cucumbers, 🍉 watermelon, & leafy greens
Make it fun, try a favorite cup, add fruit slices, or use a straw

Small sips throughout the day can make a big difference in health, energy, and independence.
