Trigger Warning: Perinatal Bereavement
This is bereavement doula support…

I am not currently taking doula clients but as a someone who has gone through loss I will always make time. This is 36 weeks pregnant, SAHM mom, 2 hour board meeting and a late night hour+ long FaceTime call to support this mother, tired face.

I’m so thankful I did because her follow up appointment this morning she did not get the support (physically, mentally or emotionally) or resources from her doctor that she needed.

Perinatal bereavement is never easy. Don’t be afraid to reach out for support to a doula, like myself, family and friends. It can make the difference in your healing journey.

Pregnancy after loss, it’s different, it’s quiet, it’s feeling less excitement, not ready to share with others, it’s waiting for negative news while praying for this baby to stick and grow.

Feeling grateful to be in the third trimester as we await the arrival of our second earthside baby.
