Brooks Family Care will be closed tomorrow due to the weather. Dr Brooks is iced/snowed in… otherwise we’d be there. 🤣 if you have urgent needs, you can call the office number and leave a message. Hopefully we’ll be back Tuesday.

If anyone has been trying to reach the office or are waiting to hear back from us, our internet has been down this afternoon and we haven’t been able to access our messages or records system. 🤦🏻‍♀️ We apologize for not getting back to you and we are working to try to catch up.

Does anyone want to guess which month is consistently the busiest for us each year? And by busy, I mean B U S Y! The answer is August! That always surprises people when I tell them. But those pesky school physicals sneak up on parents and kids every year. And let’s not forget the last minute sports physicals for kids who decide they want to join a sport that starts the next day. 😆 That has happened waaaay too many times to count. 😂 So this year, I thought I’d send out an early reminder for parents to schedule early and ✔️one thing off your list! Most schools will accept forms with physicals that were done six months prior to the start of school. If your child falls into that category, just call or email to ask if we will fill out the form. And most sports physical forms will accept a physical that is between one to even three months prior to the start of the sport. Dr Brooks is booked until the week of July 12th and Dr Curtis is booked until the week of June 28th. Happy Friday!

We’re experiencing our first blackout of the day right now. We plan to still see patients, though. The internet is out, so we can’t answer messages until the power comes back up. We appreciate your patience!

If you are traveling to the office, please take extra time and drive very cautiously. I35 is very slick and the roads in Olathe have not been plowed. Take your time and if you arrive here late, we’ll do our best to still get you in to be seen.
