Congratulations to Christina Cook, RDH, Dental Operations Manager, for being named the recipient of the Milbern-Reddy Community Achievement Award!

Christina was honored at the Olathe Noon Lions Club’s 36th Annual Free Health Fair on March 7. The award, presented in honor of Bob Milbern and Santosh Reddy—founders of the health fair—has become a cherished Olathe tradition recognizing individuals who demonstrate unwavering dedication to community service and improving the lives of others through leadership, social responsibility, and mentorship.

During the last school year, Christina provided care to nearly 5,500 children across more than 20 schools, identifying an average of 11 students per school with urgent dental needs. Her commitment helps ensure that children receive the care they need to stay healthy and succeed.

Christina’s professional excellence, compassion and giving heart have made a lasting impact on our community. We are incredibly proud to celebrate her and the difference she continues to make every day!

This week, the Kansas Department for Children and Families (DCF) donated more than 200 pillowcase bags to HPC. We plan to distribute these colorfully designed pillowcases to our pediatric patients in the coming weeks. Thank you, Caitlyn Padgett, for delivering them to us and a huge thank you to our volunteer David Kim for counting and distributing!

We are so appreciative of our friends at DCF for thinking of us.

As we wrap up Snowflake Streak, we’ve loved celebrating our incredible winning teams!

We kicked things off by delivering a pizza lunch to our friends at Community Care Network of Kansas and Team Care Gnomes of Kansas. They showed up in style, bringing amazing energy, team spirit and the best costumes of the event!

Today, we had the pleasure of celebrating the Ottawa University team, with an impressive 17 members registered! The team received Crumbl cookies and a hot cocoa gift pack. We’re especially grateful for their crew who volunteered on event day—your support and enthusiasm made a real impact.

Thank you all for showing up, showing out and making Snowflake Streak such a success. We’re proud to celebrate each of you!

Celebrating Women in Construction Week!

As part of Women in Construction Week (March 1–7, 2026), Dr. Tiffany Swanson, OB-GYN and HPC's Chief Health Officer, and Diana Flores, the clinic's Women’s Health Coordinator, were pleased to attend TY Construction’s Women in Construction “Self Care” Wellness Event.

Dr. Swanson was available to answer women’s health questions and provide guidance on preventive care and women's health, while Diana helped schedule women’s health exams right on site — making it easy and convenient for women to prioritize their health.

We also shared important health information and distributed goodies to support self-care and wellness.
