Calisthenics (body weight workouts) is the most convenient, creative, and cost-effective form of exercise.

Check out how this guy uses the playground as his gym! One of the best things he says in this video is to "just show up." And I agree! Half the battle is simply showing up.

EMBODIED EMOTION

An absolutely fascinating lecture out of The University of Chicago that I saw a few years ago and figured I'd share:

A stroke victim's face is partially paralyzed. She is unable to voluntarily move it through basic commands.

However...when she is prompted or provoked with something that evokes emotion, she is able to move the side of her face that is paralyzed!

Movement is not just elicited through basic motor commands...but movement is also elicited through emotions.
There are two different tracks that causes movement move - 1) motor and 2) emotional

This may be thought-provoking and somewhat life-changing for someone out there as you extract the potential ramifications of this fascinating brain-body design :)
