Post surgical swelling/edema is a common issue after a total knee replacement. It is very important to keep it under control as it is a major source of pain and discomfort following the procedure. Performing a weaving technique with kinesiology tape is a great way to provide comfort to a patient after their total knee replacement by reducing swelling. Today we are using a weaving technique with kinesiology tape to reduce edema after a total knee replacement. Edema or swelling can greatly impact a patient after their surgery by causing pain and limited mobility.
