Our October Boxer of the Month- Frank Coviello
With 2 ½ years of Rock Steady Boxing under his belt, Frank is a consistent boxer showing up to fight his Parkinson’s with all he’s got. He has not let increasing physical difficulties dampen his enthusiasm for the program. He keeps pushing forward. He is a caring and compassionate friend to his fellow boxers. And his commitment to RSB and his fellow boxers is but a reflection of his life outside our program where he and his wife Maryann are so actively involved serving our local community through UNICO.
Thanks for all you do, Frank, both in and out of boxing!

September Boxer of the Month - Jane Pardue
For three years now, Tunkhannock has enjoyed the energy of our September Boxer of the Month - Jane Pardue. Whether it is bringing in special treats and gifts, celebrating their class mascot, “Waldo the Frog”, with celebratory matching t-shirts and penning a poem to commemorate the occasion, or just being a loving supportive friend to all, Jane brings life and laughter to her class. Additionally, Jane always puts in the effort to exercise hard to put PD in its place!
Never stop fighting…and smiling, Jane!

We celebrated our annual picnic and 9th year anniversary in style. It was a beautiful day for a picnic in the park with loved ones. The event featured fun, food, laughter and prizes. And a special thank you to all who donated to our raffle, those who brought some delicious food and to those who helped set and clean up.

Our Tunkhannock crew is always adding new fun and spirit to their workouts! Here they are at their first "Waldo" day, since Waldo the frog is their mascot! Here is more in their own words...
Ladies and gentlemen, let’s give a big RIBBIT welcome to our new Rock Steady Boxing mascot — Waldo the Frog! 🐸 He’s got more hops than a jump rope, more attitude than a speed bag, and rumor has it he’s the only frog who can throw a mean right hook. Waldo’s here to remind us that no matter how tough Parkinson’s gets, we’ve always got another bounce in us. So when in doubt, just channel your inner frog — keep hopping, keep fighting, and if all else fails, RIBBIT really loud and throw a jab! 🥊
