Recently, we had the joy of hosting a beautiful yoga retreat at Indigo Nature Retreat, guided by the incredible team at . Over the course of the weekend, our creekside land became a sanctuary for movement, stillness, connection, and renewal.

At Indigo, retreats unfold naturally—
yoga in the open air, quiet mornings wrapped in mist, shared meals, and unhurried conversations beneath the trees. The space holds you, so you can focus on what matters most: presence, community, and transformation.

Leadership in Action | Executive Retreat 2025

Yesterday, our McDowell Chamber Executive Leadership Team stepped away from the day-to-day to pause, reflect, and dream forward at beautiful Indigo Nature Retreat.

Guided by Dr. Jim Street, the retreat challenged us to think boldly about the future of our Chamber and our community — defining what it truly means to move .

From exploring our strengths and celebrating milestones to envisioning what’s next for McDowell County, the day was filled with clarity, collaboration, and courageous conversation.

We left inspired — united by purpose, grounded in data, and ready to keep building a stronger, more connected business community.

5 years ago Mike and Jenna trusted Indigo to host their wedding celebration! This past weekend they returned with Ivy their precious daughter to relax in the Forest. In between they have loved and supported Indigo through their patronage and generous contributions to restore this sacred space, post- Helene. We are forever grateful 🌿
