Did you know that PMU pigment doesn’t go as deep in the skin, as tattoo pigment does? PMU pigment goes to the top layer of the dermis, right below the epidermis. Whereas, tattoo pigment goes more deeper into the dermis layer! This allows the body to breakdown pigment after 1 year to 3 years time. For this reason, I recommend doing touch-ups atleast once a year to keep your procedure looking fresh and full of life! 💓
