Thirty years ago today, I came to Old Town as a Funeral Director for Birmingham Funeral Home. I could have never imagined the journey that would unfold, the lives that would touch mine, or the countless families who would place their trust in me during some of life’s most difficult moments.

For the past three decades, it has been my true honor and privilege to serve the families of Old Town and the surrounding communities with compassion, dignity, and respect. What began as a profession quickly became so much more — a calling, a purpose, and a lifelong connection to this community.

Along the way, I have been blessed to build not only professional relationships, but many deep and lasting friendships. I have stood beside families in moments of grief, celebration, remembrance, and healing, and those experiences have forever shaped who I am both personally and professionally.

Thirty years of service is not something accomplished alone. I owe sincere gratitude to the incredible families who have trusted me, the dedicated coworkers and staff members I have worked alongside, and the community that has supported me throughout this journey.
